This just shows how the most beautiful moments can be seen in the most random everyday places. This happy, glowing hibiscus flower grows in a long hedge of hibiscus in the parking lot of the Fullerton Historic Ballroom, the place where my swing dance team The Fly Rights rehearse twice a week. We usually practice at night, but we got here early this afternoon to meet for teammate Alex’s birthday at the Cajun Swamp restaurant just around the corner.

Random beauty, random place. And I love it.
