This is the color sample of the cover of my first children's book, "Herman's Magic Socks," which I am currently submitting for publication.

Herman is a big-eared, goofy young boy who eats his lunch all by himself – at the far empty corner of the playground.  His life is changed forever when he wakes one morning to discover a strange, glowing pair of socks on his floor that gift him the gift of flight.  With illustrations that are beautiful, hilarious and full of motion, we follow Herman as the magic socks help him learn to fly – and as he encounters other challenges that he must overcome all by himself.  He even manages to warm the hearts of some nasty bullies who openly taunted Herman for being the “kid who’s just a little different.”
